Free printable: the 2027 New Testament reading checklist
Quick answer: A Relief Society bulletin board works best with a monthly theme and one short scripture, plus a header, a birthday list and upcoming events. Keep the theme pieces up all month and swap only the dated pieces. Below is a theme and KJV scripture for every month of the year.

A good Relief Society board does three jobs: it welcomes sisters, shares what's coming up and points everyone toward Christ. The easiest way to keep it fresh is to give each month a theme and a scripture, then change only the dated pieces.
A header with the month, so the board always looks current.
A thought for the month: one short scripture everyone can read in passing.
Birthdays: a simple way to help every sister feel seen.
Upcoming events: activities, service projects and temple nights.
A ministering or lesson corner for this week's focus or general conference talk.
January: New beginnings. "Behold, I make all things new." (Revelation 21:5)
February: Charity. "Charity never faileth." (1 Corinthians 13:8)
March: Growth. "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow." (Matthew 6:28)
April: Easter. "He is not here: for he is risen." (Matthew 28:6)
May: Mothers and women. "Her children arise up, and call her blessed." (Proverbs 31:28)
June: Joy. "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)
July: Liberty. "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land." (Leviticus 25:10)
August: Light. "Let your light so shine before men." (Matthew 5:16)
September: Seasons. "To every thing there is a season." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
October: Service. "Let us not be weary in well doing." (Galatians 6:9)
November: Gratitude. "In every thing give thanks." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
December: Christ's birth. "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." (Luke 2:11)
Print pieces two to a letter page on cardstock, keep last month's pieces in a folder, and when you teach from general conference talks, post a "This Week's Lesson" card.
If you'd rather not design it yourself, every month above is ready to print in the 12-month seasonal Relief Society bulletin board, or grab just the month you need (December is here). For editable kits in five styles plus general conference talk cards, see the Relief Society Bulletin Board Mega Bundle.
A monthly header, a short scripture or thought, sister birthdays, upcoming activities and a lesson or ministering corner. Five pieces is plenty for most boards.
Once a month works for most wards. Leave the theme and scripture up for the whole month and update the events list as plans change.
Short, familiar verses read best from across the room. "Charity never faileth" (1 Corinthians 13:8) is the Relief Society motto and works any month.
Print on cardstock at home or a copy center, reuse the same border all year and change only the paper pieces. A low-ink design saves the most.
